The Air Force has selected 397 officers for promotion to captain, the Air Force Personnel Center said Thursday.
Among those first lieutenants selected were 285 in the Line of the Air Force, 20 judge advocates general, 61 in the Nurse Corps, 13 in the Medical Services Corps, 17 in the Biomedical Sciences Corps, and one chaplain. The overall selection rate for the 402 eligible officers who were considered was 98.8 percent.
Three LAF first lieutenants were promoted above-the-zone, and three were passed over for above-the-zone promotion. All other selectees were in-the-zone.
