Kenneth \u201cKage\u201d Allen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Air Force announced early Tuesday that Allen, assigned to the 493rd Fighter Squadron of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airforcetimes.com\/news\/your-air-force\/2019\/10\/24\/f-15e-strike-eagles-deploy-to-al-dhafra\/\" target=_blank>48th Fighter Wing<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airforcetimes.com\/news\/your-air-force\/2020\/05\/13\/lakenheath-f-15s-deploy-to-afcent\/\" target=_blank>RAF Lakenheath<\/a> in England, died in Monday\u2019s crash. Allen was the assistant chief of weapons and tactics for his squadron, the wing said in a release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"590\" height=\"440\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Kage-Allen-2.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51487\" srcset=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Kage-Allen-2.jpg.jpg 590w, https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Kage-Allen-2.jpg.jpg?resize=300,224 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">1st Lt. He is survived by his wife and parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are deeply saddened by the loss of Lt. Allen, and mourn with his family and his fellow Reapers in the 493rd Fighter Squadron,\u201d wing commander Col. He was assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A photograph Allen posted on Facebook of himself in 2017, wearing his cadet dress uniform at the Air Force Academy, indicates he graduated from the academy. The academy later <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AF_Academy\/status\/1272889542249512964\/photo\/1\" target=_blank>confirmed in a tweet<\/a> that Allen was a recent graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPlease join us in grieving this great loss to our Air Force and graduate community,\u201d the academy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allen\u2019s wife Hannah posted heartfelt tributes to her husband on her social media page Tuesday, including a recent video of him playing guitar and singing to her for the last time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI think I could fill an ocean with the tears I\u2019ve cried today,\u201d Hannah Allen wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Facebook page Follow the Flag \u2013 North Ogden, which posted photographs of Allen with his family\u2019s permission, said Allen grew up in Northern Utah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allen\u2019s F-15 crashed into the North Sea while on a training mission, which the wing described as routine, at about 9:40 a.m. Monday morning. Search and rescue teams, including U.K. Search and Rescue and Her Majesty\u2019s Coastguard, quickly responded to try to save him.
