The Army <\/a>asked and commercial gunmakers answered. There are now 10 submachine <\/a>guns that have been submitted to fulfill an Army request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the Army\u2019s request for information is not to outfit every soldier with a subgun <\/a>but to have an option for soldiers who might need this type of weapon for personal protection and specific mission sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\t
