The hospital has set a 70-percent occupancy rate as a new benchmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Defense Health Agency is evaluating health services throughout the military as budgets shrink and numbers of service members in uniform decline. The hospital could be in for some major changes if the numbers continue to fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pentagon spokesman Maj. James Brindle <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mydaytondailynews.com\/news\/news\/local-military\/changes-sought-at-wright-patt-hospital\/ngp4Y\/?icmp=daytondaily_internallink_textlink_apr2013_daytondailystubtomydaytondaily_launch#b7a94fa8.3554830.735443\">tells the Dayton Daily News<\/a> in an email that there are no plans to close the hospital, but its status will be re-evaluated next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hospital is the second-largest in the Air Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"
