Gen. Lyndon Craig Johnson of Manchester has nearly 37 years of service. He is relinquishing command of the state Guard to Brig. Gen. Juan R. Santiago of Memphis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Santiago has served in the military for more than 30 years, in the Air Force, Air Force Reserves and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarytimes.com\/news\/your-military\/2020\/09\/09\/3-killed-in-plane-crash-were-tennessee-national-guard\/\" target=_blank>Tennessee State Guard<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1125\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/santiago_juan_bg2.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"Brig.
