The company that created \u201cCall of Duty\u201d has a new way players can support veterans looking for civilian employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game\u2019s owner, Activision, said \u201cCall of Duty: Black Ops 4\u201d players can now buy a new jump pack and dynamic theme, and the company will give 100 percent of the proceeds to its affiliate <\/a>nonprofit group, the Call of Duty Endowment, which has helped connect<\/a> more than 57,000 veterans with jobs since 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, players can buy a special wing suit, parachute, and trail for $5, or a special \u201cNight Raid\u201d theme for $3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cNight Raid\u201d theme was designed by Marine Corps veteran Max Uriarte, a cartoonist and illustrator who created the popular \u201cTerminal Lance<\/a>\u201d comics. He has twice deployed to Iraq as a turret gunner and combat photographer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI recall returning home from my first deployment to Iraq in 2008 and one of the first things I did was buy a PlayStation 3 and \u2018Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare,\u2019” <\/i>said Uriarte, referring to the connection many service members have to the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new options are available for players only in the U.S. and United Kingdom on PlayStation 4, with other formats to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\t
