The Army plans 897 promotions in October to the ranks of captain through colonel for Regular Army and Army Reserve Active Guard and Reserve officers.
In the Regular Army, there will be 72 advancements to colonel, 128 to lieutenant colonel, 151 to major, and 496 to captain. That’s a total of 847 advancements.
No chief warrant officer three through five promotions are scheduled for October.
Officer promotion orders will be available no later than Sept. 26, according to Human Resources Command.
The Army also plans 50 promotions to the ranks of major through colonel for Army Reserve AGR officers.
There will be 13 advancements to colonel, 19 to lieutenant colonel, and 18 to major.
