EL PASO, Texas — Police are investigating the death of a Fort Bliss soldier whose body was found in an El Paso apartment.
El Paso police say they found the woman’s body around 4 p.m. Thursday at the High Vista Apartments. They say officers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check after she didn’t show up for work at the U.S. Army post.
Police haven’t released her identity but said she appeared to be in her 20s. They say her death is suspicious but haven’t released other details.
A Fort Bliss spokesman confirmed the woman was a soldier at the post and that officials are cooperating with the homicide investigation.
