A teen’s first job comes with a long list of firsts. First interview, first uniform, first day. Through IHG® Army Hotels Teen Academy, those early milestones come with something else: the opportunity to learn alongside supportive mentors, contribute to the community and begin imagining where a new set of skills could lead.

For the past decade, the paid summer internship program has introduced teenagers to the people and responsibilities behind hotel operations. Participants work alongside experienced hotel team members while gaining exposure to departments such as housekeeping, laundry, breakfast service, maintenance and front desk operations.

But the experience is about more than learning how a hotel runs. It is designed to help teenagers become more confident, dependable and prepared to enter the workforce.

One Summer Can Make a Difference

For some interns, Teen Academy represents their first opportunity to earn and save their own money.

Brian Gonzalez Morales traveled from Puerto Rico to spend the summer with his older brother Edwin, an IHG Army Hotels colleague at Joint Base San Antonio. During his first year in the program, Brian saved enough money to purchase a car when he returned home.

The experience gave him more than a financial goal to work toward. He enjoyed his time with the hotel team so much that he returned the following summer. This time, he took on an additional role as a mentor, helping new participants navigate some of the same responsibilities he had recently learned about himself.

His story reflects one of Teen Academy’s most meaningful outcomes: Participants do not simply complete the program and move on. Some return for another summer, continue working at the hotel or become a source of support for the next group of teenagers walking through the door.

Finding Confidence in New Places

Teen Academy can also introduce participants to roles they may never have considered before.

At Fort Leavenworth, a participant named Dyani spent her summer working in the maintenance department under Vicky McLaughlin, one of the only women to lead the department.

In her end-of-summer reflection, Dyani described how quickly her perspective changed. Although she initially felt like an outsider, the openness of her mentor and the stories they shared helped her become part of the team. By stepping into an unfamiliar department, Dyani gained practical knowledge while also seeing firsthand that a career path does not have to follow traditional expectations.

That relationship between both participants and mentors is central to the program. Hotel team members teach workplace standards, demonstrate daily responsibilities and provide guidance to teenagers who may be entering a professional environment for the first time.

Expanding Hospitality Beyond the Hotel

Learning to serve others does not stop at the hotel doors.

Each Teen Academy class participates in at least one community service project during the summer. Past participants have supported local food banks and organizations such as the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which assists families of fallen first responders and service members.

These projects allow teens to see hospitality in a broader way. For participants, community service becomes another opportunity to work as a team, take responsibility and understand the impact they can make together.

Training the Next Generation of Hospitality Professionals

Teen Academy began in 2016 with 14 teenagers at Joint Base San Antonio, as a way to fill much-needed summer job openings and provide work for dependents of hotel colleagues. Today, an average of twenty IHG Army Hotels locations participate in the program each summer, hiring an average of 90 teens per year.

The program is also now open to dependents of military personnel living on post. By opening the program to more military-connected teenagers, IHG Army Hotels has created another way to support the families who live and serve within the communities where its hotel teams work.

Where Are the Teen Academy Alumni Now?

One of the main purposes of Teen Academy is to introduce young people to the hospitality industry and ignite a passion for delivering excellent service to our guests.

Beyond Teen Academy, IHG Army Hotels is committed to hiring veterans, military spouses and family members, recognizing the valuable skills and experiences they bring to caring for our guests.

Several Teen Academy participants have gone on to become full-time colleagues at IHG Army Hotels, carrying the skills they learned as teenagers into their future.

Melanie Flores, now a housekeeper at Joint Base San Antonio, still uses the communication, punctuality and problem-solving skills she learned in the program. One of her favorite parts of the job is interacting and laughing with guests and other team members.

Adrian McManaway-Vasquez, a front desk agent at Fort Huachuca, always reflects fondly on the Teen Academy program, and credits Teen Academy with teaching him hotel standards, time management and how to communicate across different teams.

Ariana Avalos, a houseperson at Fort Benning, describes the experience as “hands-on,” giving participants the opportunity to learn hotel standards while building relationships with guests and colleagues.

Jordan Robinson, now a laundry attendant at Fort Benning, shares how the program prepared him for the real world by showing him the ins and outs of a real job.

Dneijha “Dee” Chambers, who now works at Fort Benning, encourages current participants of the program to ask questions, step outside their comfort zones and enjoy the experience. “Believe in yourself, have fun and leave knowing you’re stronger, more confident and ready for whatever comes next”, she said.

Opening Doors for the Future

After 10 summers, hundreds of shifts and countless firsts, Teen Academy continues to show how meaningful an early work experience can be.

For one teenager, it may mean saving for a car. For another, it may mean finding a place on a team, discovering a potential career in hospitality, or gaining the confidence to take on the next challenge.

And sometimes, one summer is all it takes to begin.

Teen Academy is part of IHG Academy, which provides pathways into the hospitality industry through internships, apprenticeships, work experience and on-the-job training.

At IHG Army Hotels, we recognize that many of our guests face the challenges of PCS. Our goal is to ease that transition by delivering dependable hospitality across our hotels located on 40 Army installations nationwide.

Whether relocating across the country or awaiting permanent housing, our teams are committed to supporting service members, retirees, civilians, and families throughout every stage of the PCS journey with comfort, consistency, and care. Many of our colleagues are veterans or members of military families themselves, bringing firsthand understanding and experience to the guests they serve every day. That shared connection helps us deliver a more thoughtful stay experience rooted in real understanding of military life and its unique demands.

Our hotels are designed with military life in mind, offering the convenience of staying right on post, inside the gates, and close to the places guests need most. With complimentary hot breakfast, free high-speed internet, guest laundry, pet-friendly rooms, and flexible accommodations, we provide practical support during times of transition. Being located on post also helps guests stay connected to their community, resources, and daily routines while navigating the uncertainty.

Since the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program began in 2009, we have remained committed to enhancing the guest experience by keeping our properties modern, well-maintained, and continuously improving both our facilities and service. That commitment is reflected in our guest feedback, with nearly 70% of guests awarding IHG Army Hotels a 5 out of 5 score on our surveys. These scores not only reflect the quality of our hotels but also the dedication of our teams to make every stay as smooth and supportive as possible.

In 2026, alongside owner and developer Centinel, we are rolling out the next phase of improvements, including the opening of Candlewood Suites Building 3705 on Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

The hotel opened in April and features 207 guest rooms, each equipped with a list of amenities designed for families and extended stays. There are studios, 1-bedroom suites, and 2-bedroom suites available, and each room is equipped with a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator to provide the comforts of home during extended stays. These room options give guests the space they need, whether traveling alone, with pets, or with loved ones.

Guests can also enjoy a variety of on-site amenities, including complimentary hot breakfast, a fitness and business center, and a Candlewood Cupboard where guests can purchase snacks and quick meals. Outside, there is a large outdoor gathering gazebo with grills for guests’ use. Together, these amenities are designed to make longer stays more comfortable. IHG One Rewards members earn points for all their stays, redeemable for Reward Nights at more than 6,600 off-post IHG Hotels & Resorts worldwide.

Wherever your move brings you, we look forward to welcoming you with care and hospitality through your PCS journey and beyond.

Veterans Day is extra special for us at IHG® Army Hotels. It’s a time to honor the brave men and women who’ve served and celebrate the ones we’ve called guests and colleagues. Since the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL), we’ve been a major part of the military community, providing our guests a better stay and improving the lives of service members and their families.

Guests who stay with us enjoy the same amenities they would find at our hotels off post, including complimentary hot breakfast, free high-speed internet, guest laundry facilities, and pet-friendly accommodations. Plus, members earn valuable IHG One Rewards points for each stay. To date, we’ve awarded our guests more than 8 billion points! That equals an average of 305,000 reward nights at any of more than 6,000 IHG Hotels & Resorts globally.*

We’re proud of our reputation for providing exceptional hospitality, which is reflected in our guest satisfaction survey scores. Nearly 70% of our guests have awarded us 5 stars out of 5, and veterans are a major part our success. They, along with military spouses and retirees make up 25% of our colleagues. They understand better than anyone else what it means to serve, and because of that, they can connect with our guests on a more personal level. Whether military families are traveling for PCS, business or leisure, they’re in great hands. For veterans transitioning to civilian life, we offer a variety of careers at IHG and we encourage them to explore opportunities by visiting https://careers.ihg.com/en/veterans/.

We’re also dedicated to supporting and developing the next generation of colleagues through our Teen Academy program. IHG Army Hotels offers this paid summer internship to the dependents of our hotel team members and the dependents of military personnel living on post. For eight weeks, participants in Teen Academy work in several jobs, including housekeeper, laundry assistant, and breakfast attendant. It’s a great way for teens to gain valuable work experience while learning about different aspects of the hospitality industry.

Privatization has also benefited the Army itself. Each year, the PAL program saves the Army $70 million, with more than $4 billion in savings over the life of the program. The program is self-sufficient; for every $100 we receive, $43 is reinvested into our hotels—with more than $5 billion to be reinvested over the next 50 years. This reinvestment is what makes it possible to continually renovate our hotels to reflect the strictest brand standards set by IHG, as well as to provide newly-constructed hotels at many locations, such as Candlewood Suites and Staybridge Suites hotels.

For 16 years, it’s been an honor to serve those who serve. We’re proud to make such a positive impact in the military community, because to us, every day is like Veterans Day.

*Reward nights available only at off-post hotels.

That commitment is reflected in our work through the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program. PAL is a long-term partnership with the U.S. Army focused on modernizing lodging facilities located on Army posts nationwide. Since its inception, we’ve invested more than $1.8 billion into PAL and have upgraded more than 12,000 hotel rooms across 40 Army installations. We’ve replaced outdated properties, renovated existing structures, and built new, brand-standard hotels that offer the same accommodations found at off-post hotels. The impact of privatization is visible in every corner of our hotel portfolio, with next-level comfort, improved safety, and refreshed amenities.

For example, our Candlewood Suites® offer suite-style rooms and the added convenience of brand hallmarks such as the Lending Locker, which guests can access for kitchen appliances and games, and the Candlewood Cupboard, which provides grab-and-go meals, snacks, and everyday essentials. And, all of our hotels offer complimentary hot daily breakfast, high-speed internet, pet-friendly accommodations, guest laundry facilities and much more.

Privatization not only benefits guests and their communities, but the Army itself. It enables IHG Army Hotels to support the Army’s long-term infrastructure goals and help free up resources that are needed elsewhere. We reinvest $43 of every $100 into the program, with over $5 billion allocated for improvements over the next 50 years. Our commitment to PAL also reflects our values of sustainability and cost savings. In the past three years alone, our conservation efforts have saved the Army over $1.8 million.

For many guests, hotel improvements mean more than upgraded rooms—they represent stability. Whether navigating PCS, reporting for training, or reuniting with loved ones, having access to consistent, quality lodging brings peace of mind when it’s needed most. Our commitment to providing a quality stay is reflected in our guest satisfaction scores. We’re proud to have earned five out of five stars in the Garrison Commander Evaluation Metric for the past five years.

Since 2009, we’ve seen how meaningful this improved lodging experience can be. We’re honored to provide more than just a place to stay. We’re creating spaces that serve, support, and reflect the strength of the military community.

As we look to the future, our mission remains clear: to continue raising the standard of IHG Army hotels through long-term reinvestment, innovation, and hospitality. Because for us, service goes beyond the front desk. It’s about honoring those who serve by offering comfort, consistency, and quality the military community deserves.

Happy 250th birthday to the US Army! We’re honored to share in the celebration of such an important milestone in our nation’s military history. We appreciate the sacrifices made by our service members to protect our freedoms every day, and we’re dedicated to providing them with the best service possible. With team members that include veterans and military spouses, we have a deep understanding of the challenges that come with military travel. It is our mission to reward our valued guests with an exceptional stay experience.

For more than 15 years, we’ve proudly served the Army community in our hotels and post communities across the country. Thanks to the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program, IHG Army Hotels offer the same high-quality accommodations and amenities our guests find off-post, and IHG One Rewards members earn points for their stays, redeemable for reward nights at all off-post IHG Hotels & Resorts hotels worldwide. To date, we have awarded more than 7.4B points to our loyal guests.

We pride ourselves in delivering the best possible stays and the type of service that our military guests deserve. Our hotels scored 4.5 out of 5 in our latest guest satisfaction surveys, with nearly 70% of our guests rating us 5 out of 5.

Under the PAL program, we are also able to reinvest $43 out of every $100 into renovations and new construction, with $5.2 billion to be reinvested over the next 50 years. With that in mind, we’re excited to announce a few updates to our hotels.

Holiday Inn Express on Fort Johnson is celebrating a grand reopening after completing more than $8M worth of renovations last month. This is the first hotel in our portfolio to be branded by IHG in 2010; the 98-room hotel consists of two buildings: Magnolia House and Cypress Inn. In addition to major upgrades to the exterior areas including a new swimming pool and cabana, renovations include updated guestrooms, a remodeled lobby and breakfast area.

We’d also like to welcome our newest branded hotel: Holiday Inn Express Foster Lodge on Fort Leonard Wood. Officially branded this past April, the 66-room hotel features all the Holiday Inn Express hallmarks and amenities, including the Express Start hot breakfast – complete with its popular cinnamon rolls.

Renovations and hotel brandings are just part of what we have in store. We’ve also begun construction on a new Candlewood Suites hotel for guests staying on Fort Bragg. We’ll have more details coming soon.

For 250 years, the Army has played a vital role in the development and defense of our nation. It’s an impressive legacy of service, and one we’re committed to honoring every day. Whether you’re traveling for PCS, business, or leisure, you can expect nothing less than 5-star hospitality stay after stay. Like the Army, we’re proud of our accomplishments and always looking for ways to push ourselves to an even higher standard of excellence. From renovations to new constructions, we’re redefining what military lodging can be now and in the future. Happy birthday, Army! Here’s to many more years together.

November is more than just the month we kick off the holiday season. It’s an invitation to celebrate our veterans and an opportunity to practice gratitude for the blessings in our lives. It’s also a chance to win 1 million IHG® One Rewards points. For more details, read below.

Veterans are a select group of people, making up less than 10% of the U.S. population. Military service is a rewarding, but challenging, career path that most Americans choose not to take. When many people leave the armed forces and become veterans, they face numerous challenges. One of the most common challenges is finding employment as a member of the civilian workforce.

At IHG® Army Hotels, we’re honored to help veterans transition to new careers in their civilian lives. Veterans understand better than anyone else what it means to serve, and because of that, they are able to connect with our guests on a more personal level. Whether military families are traveling for PCS or leisure, they’re in great hands thanks to our colleagues who have served. They’re a major reason why we continue to score so high in customer satisfaction surveys year after year. Veterans looking to join our team are encouraged to apply by visiting https://careers.ihg.com/en/veterans/.

We’re also dedicated to supporting and developing the next generation of colleagues through our Teen Academy. IHG Army Hotels offers this paid summer internship to the dependents of our hotel team members and the dependents of military personnel living on post.

Teen Academy is a great opportunity to develop kids into future leaders even if they don’t necessarily have the means or desire to go to college right away. The program also provides additional help for the hotels during the busy summer travel months so we can keep providing the 5-star hospitality we’re known for.

This summer, 86 teens took part in the internship, which was held in 16 hotels across the country. For eight weeks, participants in Teen Academy work in several jobs, including housekeeper, laundry assistant, and breakfast attendant. In addition to gaining valuable work experience, the teens learn about different aspects of the hospitality industry from on-the-job training.

Teen Academy also includes at least one community service project, so the interns learn the importance of giving back. Past project beneficiaries have included the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which helps provide mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children.

We’re always looking for ways to give back to our military communities, and every September, we kick our volunteer efforts into high gear for IHG’s Giving for Good Month. This year’s volunteer projects included handing out water at the Annual Run/Walk for the Fallen on Fort Leavenworth, collecting pet food for animal shelters on Fort Gregg Adams, and supporting Covenant House Georgia, a shelter that provides unconditional love and comprehensive support for young people experiencing homelessness or trafficking.

In the spirit of November, we’re also celebrating veterans and showing our gratitude with our biggest sweepstakes of the year. We’re giving away 1 million IHG One Rewards points in a random drawing on Veterans Day. You could be 1 of 10 winners each receiving 100,000 points— enough for up to a 5-night stay in many off-post IHG Hotels and Resorts worldwide. Don’t miss your chance! Head to @ihgarmyhotels on Instagram to enter today.

Thank you to our veterans for your service in the military and in civilian life. We’re honored to call you colleagues, guests, and family members this month and every month.

IHG® Army Hotels is celebrating 15 years of providing the finest accommodations and hospitality for the military community. Since 2009, we’ve redefined what on-post lodging can be.

Under the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program, we’ve partnered with Rest Easy to build new hotels and renovate existing properties so that our guests can experience the same quality they expect from our hotel brands off post. We’ve spent more than $1 billion on construction and renovation to make military lodging more comfortable and convenient than ever before. Our guests enjoy upgraded amenities like complimentary hot breakfast and free Wi-Fi and earn IHG® One Rewards points they can redeem at IHG Hotels and Resorts worldwide.

We manage and operate more than 70 hotels inside 40 U.S. Army installations across the country, and we’re proud to say our program has a major impact on our guests and the Army itself. One of our biggest accomplishments is how much we’ve saved the Army, since our room rates are capped at 80% of the per diem (aggregated), which amounts to approximately $85 million annually, with an estimated savings of $4.3 billion projected over the life of the program. We’ve also committed to making sure the program is self-sustaining by reinvesting 43 cents of every dollar into our hotels, with more than $5 billion to be reinvested over the next 50 years.

As members of the military community, our hotels are dedicated to providing service members and their families with True Hospitality. Since 2009, we’ve raised nearly $800,000 for the Fisher House Network of Homes. In 2021, we began making contributions to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and have raised close to $375,000 so far. We also support local post communities as well as Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) efforts by investing more than $300,000 in them each year.

Being a part of the military community also means providing opportunities to service members transitioning out of the military. IHG Army Hotels employs 1,800 people and many of our colleagues are veterans or members of military families. They know all about military travel because they’ve done it themselves, and they’re a crucial part of what might be our biggest success: guest satisfaction.

As of last quarter, we earned a 4.45 out of 5 in Overall Satisfaction scores, with 67% of guests scoring us 5 out of 5. Our hotels have also been awarded 5 out of 5 stars in the Garrison Commander Evaluation Metric since 2017.

We’re honored to provide DoD, service members, veterans, and families with the best possible stay on-post. Privatization has enabled us to make vast improvements to Army lodging the last 15 years, and we support the expansion of that privatization to all branches of the military.

Thank you for choosing IHG Army Hotels. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

To book a room with us, visit www.ihgarmyhotels.com.

PCS season is here and many military families are likely feeling a mixture of excitement and dread. Moving for a Permanent Change of Station is a part of military life. According to the Department of Defense, nearly one third of service members make a PCS move every year.

While the process can feel overwhelming at times, there are several ways to help take the stress out of the big move.

Allow plenty of time. As soon as you receive your PCS orders, start working on a plan.

Get organized. Use a binder to keep important documents together like medical records, housing information and contact details.

Take advantage of military resources. Stay up to date on the latest PCS guidance from the Relocation Assistance Program and Military OneSource. The DoD continues to make PCS less of a burden each year. For example, service members going through PCS can now be reimbursed up to $550 for costs associated with transporting a pet—a dog or a cat.

Develop a budget. Estimate all your expenses for things like transportation, food, and shipping.

Pack like a pro. Start by decluttering your home. A silver lining of making a big move is that you can take stock of the items in your home you really want to keep. As you pack, remember to organize your belongings by category and label your boxes so it will be easier to find things later. Make sure to pack essential items like medications, a few clothes and toiletries in a separate box or suitcase.

Research your new home. Getting to know the area before your move might make the transition easier and even give you and your family something to look forward to.

Take care of yourself. Eat well, stay hydrated, and remember—taking on PCS requires some R&R to maintain a good life balance.

There is nothing more daunting than trying to find available housing in your new location, and the right lodging choice will make PCS a smoother experience.

At IHG® Army Hotels, we know how important it is to have a quality place to stay when you’re between homes. Many of our team members are veterans and military spouses so they know all about the unique challenges families face during PCS.

Our hotels are ideally suited to meet the demands of PCS travel because they’re conveniently located on post and include several amenities including:

• Complimentary hot breakfast

• Fitness centers

• Pet friendly accommodations

• Free guest laundry facility – a huge convenience for extended stays

• Weekly evening socials – a chance to relax, enjoy a meal, and mingle with other guests

• IHG One Rewards points – perfect to bank during extended stays and redeem toward a relaxing vacation later

If you’re looking for an extended stay during PCS, many of our hotels also offer:

• Vending Pantries – packed with snacks and quick meal options, our Candlewood Suites hotels offer the Candlewood Cupboard, and all hotels have a lobby pantry area

• Lending Locker – has many items for Candlewood Suites guests to check out, including:

• Board games

• Kitchen appliances

• Office supplies – for work or crafts

• Outdoor gazebos and patio areas

• Playground equipment and courtesy shuttle service (at select locations)

If you and your family are moving for PCS this year, consider staying at IHG Army Hotels. We’re experts on PCS who offer top quality accommodations and hospitality for the military community.

Safe travels! We hope to see you soon.

Another Thanksgiving is upon us and there is much to be grateful for this year. IHG® Army Hotels continues to grow thanks to your support and will soon be celebrating an important milestone: 15 years of business. It’s been an honor to provide excellent service and accommodations to all our guests, especially to those in the military and their families. But our commitment to service doesn’t end at checkout. As part of IHG’s True Hospitality initiative, we’re dedicated to making a difference in our communities across the country. As we get ready to give thanks, we’d like to share a few of the ways we’ve been privileged to give back to our communities, our colleagues, and their families.

Giving for Good Month

September is always a special time for IHG Army Hotels. It’s our Giving for Good month, when we join thousands of IHG colleagues around the world in helping communities through service projects of all kinds. Here are just a few of the many ways our hotels gave back not just this past month, but throughout this year:

The most wonderful time of the year is nearly here! Get into the holiday spirit with some of the best destinations to experience this season.

New York

What can be better than the Big Apple this time of year? The spirit of the holidays greets visitors with dazzling lights and colorful displays around every corner. Whether you’re on leave or want to reconnect with family during the season, the city provides fun for every type of traveler. Start in Brooklyn’s Dyker Heights, known internationally for its holiday light display. Stroll through the neighborhood and warm up by sipping on hot cocoa or other tasty beverages from the local coffee shops.

Hop onto the subway or take a ride-sharing service to see the famous Macy’s window depicting holiday stories. You can also walk over to the holiday markets at Bryant Park which feature outdoor shopping and food options. But your holiday travel plans aren’t complete without a spin around the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink.

Stay at the Holiday Inn Express® on Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn for convenient access to the city and just a short jaunt to Dyker Heights. Amenities include free hot breakfast and rooms equipped with kitchenettes to help keep your holiday travel budget in check.

Savannah

As one of the most magical places to celebrate Christmas in the South, Savannah features dazzling holiday events throughout December. Look for Christmas on the River, a boat parade of lights, tours of historic homes, and more. This historic gem is full of gorgeous coastal landscapes with attractions like the Webb Military Museum in downtown Savannah. Browse artifacts from the American Civil War to Desert Storm, including original uniforms and headgear.

Holiday Inn Express on Hunter Army Airfield is near historic Savannah and a wide selection of shopping, dining, and entertainment options along River Street.

Colorado Springs

Colorado is a winter wonderland just waiting for skiers, hikers, and cold-weather enthusiasts to come out and play. Snow doesn’t slow down hikers carefully navigating the picturesque waterfalls at The Broadmoor Seven Falls, near Colorado Springs. During certain winter days, you might even see the falls frozen over!

You can also try winter hiking the Cheyenne Mountain State Park for stunning views and mule deer nosing around the trails. Mix up your winter vacation and hit the slopes at Breckenridge Ski Resort or Eldora Mountain resort which are under 120 miles from the Colorado Springs area.

After you’re done exploring, warm up and relax at the Candlewood Suites® on Fort Carson. You can share your outdoor adventures with your fellow guests during the complimentary hot breakfast or one of their weekly Wednesday evening socials.

Honolulu

If warm weather is more your thing, soothe your mind and body this winter in Honolulu. After a must-see trip to the Pearl Harbor Memorial, make time for the annual Honolulu City Lights featuring the lighting of the city’s 50-foot Christmas tree and downtown parade. For something more tranquil during your holiday vacation, try the 12 Days of Polynesia in Waikiki for a short boat ride through an illuminated lagoon with holiday decor. The Polynesian Cultural Center also features photos with Santa for visiting kids, train rides, and live entertainment by local talent.

Stay at the IHG® Army Hotels on Fort Shafter and soak up a backdrop of colorful flora that surrounds the hotel, and enjoy the outdoor spaces and games for guests of all ages.

Wherever you travel, we hope you’re able to spend time with your loved ones. Many families can’t bring their loved ones home for the holidays, but they can still spend time with them on post. We’re here to help make those days extra special, and many of our IHG Army Hotels locations offer special holiday rates from mid-November through early January. Contact the property you are planning on visiting from our Locations page to find out if they’re offering discounts this season.

Happy holidays! We look forward to seeing you soon.
