An 82nd Airborne Division soldier died Tuesday after collapsing in his home, according to a Friday release from the Army. Spc. Everaldo Graham, 42, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital and pronounced dead that evening, the release said. He was a petroleum supply specialist assigned to Echo Company, 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. “Spc. Everaldo Graham was among the small group of Americans who volunteered to take up arms for our nation in a time of war,” said Lt. Col. Shane Finison, his battalion commander, in the release. “Everaldo will forever remain a member of the Wolf Pack; the entire organization feels this loss. We now turn our focus to his family and teammates in their mourning.”Graham enlisted in August 2011 and had been assigned to the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, based in South Korea, before coming to Fort Bragg in 2013. In 2014 he completed an Afghanistan deployment with the 82nd, the release said.
