Col. Frederick Lamar Burnett of Madison on three counts of fraud. An indictment says Burnett defrauded the Department of Defense on three contracts that he had through his company, Lamar International Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two of the contracts were for baseball caps and one was for backpacks. All of the items were to be used as promotional items to give to the Army recruits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three contracts were worth $6.2 million and were all awarded between the 2005 and 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Copyright 2016 The Associated Press.
