Brown was banned from carrying firearms after he was convicted of failing to stop for law enforcement in 2002, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brown then sped away and made it through the gate\u2019s security barrier before it could fully deploy. He then got back into the running car, threw it into reverse, and hit an airman with his open door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The base guard fell backwards but was not injured, the report said. Brown fled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe officers took \u2026 cover around Brown\u2019s vehicle,\u201d the criminal complaint continued. \u201cBrown \u2026 walked to the rear of the car and pulled what appeared to be a firearm from the backseat of the vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He ignored commands to drop the rifle and continued to talk about sex trafficking. Brown made a statement about the officers needing to \u2018get them girls from Columbia.\u2019 He also threatened to take one of the officer\u2019s guns and shoot him with it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FBI later found that Brown\u2019s pellet gun \u201cdid not fit the definition of a working firearm,\u201d the criminal complaint said. His knife\u2019s blade measured 6 1\/2 inches. Brown could face more than 10 years in prison if convicted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shaw did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Wednesday.
