include information on the Montgomery GI Bill, the Army College Fund, the Post-9\/11 GI Bill, policies unique to the reserve components, student loan repayment programs and the health professional stipend programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The revised AR 621-202 (Army Education Incentives and Entitlements) was published Feb. 8, and will take effect March 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The previous edition of this regulation was issued Feb. 3, 1992, well before the law\u00a0that expanded benefits for National Guard and Army Reserve soldiers, and established an entirely new benefits program, the Post-9\/11 GI Bill, for veterans who signed up after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The revised regulation provides detailed information about policies that allow certain soldiers to transfer unused education\u00a0benefits to dependents, and separate chapters on student loan repayment programs for active and reserve enlisted soldiers, Army Reserve chaplains and medical professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The revised regulation is on\u00a0the Army Publishing
