And while it&#8217;s true there is a waiver process in place, there are no guarantees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, there is another way to get around the rules: have the tattoo lasered off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tattoo removal is a big business. Revenue has surged 440 percent over the past 10 years to an estimated $75.5 million, according to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/tattoo-removal-surges-440-over-the-last-decade-2014-07-15\">recent report <\/a>in the Wall Street Journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want to hear from soldiers who have had tattoos removed.
