A statement released early Thursday said the base was still open though many facilities were closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The outage also affected restaurants and commissaries on post, which hosts about 52,000 soldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The on-post Womack Army Medical Center says it\u2019s operating under reduced capacity and certain appointments at all clinics will need to be rescheduled. The emergency department was open but urgent care was closed, post officials said on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visitors were asked to call 911 to report suspicious activity and service members advised to contact their chain of command to learn when to report for duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This story will be updated as
