The Alabama-based command probes all of the service\u2019s fatal accidents, and its investigators <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armytimes.com\/news\/your-army\/2023\/04\/05\/flight-data-recorders-found-after-deadly-black-hawk-crash\/\" target=\"_blank\">recovered the helicopters\u2019 flight data recorders<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The center\u2019s officials are continuing their inquiry into the crash, according to the report. The crews were practicing night missions and were wearing night-vision goggles during the exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aircraft and the fallen troops belonged to the 101st Airborne Division\u2019s combat aviation brigade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armytimes.com\/home\/2023\/03\/31\/army-identifies-nine-soldiers-killed-in-fort-campbell-crash\/\" target=\"_blank\">soldiers killed in the crash<\/a> include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Warrant Officer Jeffery Barnes, 33, of Milton, Fla.;<\/li><li>Cpl. Emilie Marie Eve Bolanos, 23, of Austin, Texas, who was posthumously promoted to sergeant;<\/li><li>Chief Warrant Officer 2 Zachary Esparza, 36, of Jackson, Mo., who was posthumously promoted to chief warrant officer 3;<\/li><li>Sgt. Isaac J. Gayo, 27, of Los Angeles, Calif.;<\/li><li>Staff Sgt. Joshua C. Gore, 25, of Morehead City, N.C.;<\/li><li>Warrant Officer Aaron Healy, 32, of Cape Coral, Fla., who was posthumously promoted to chief warrant officer 2;<\/li><li>Staff Sgt. Taylor Mitchell, 30, of Mountain Brook, Ala.;<\/li><li>Chief Warrant Officer 2 Rusten Smith, 32, of Rolla, Mo.;<\/li><li>Sgt. David Solinas Jr, 23, of Oradell, N.J.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement released on March 31, division commander Maj. Gen. J.P.
