Authorities identified a Fort Carson soldier and four others who allegedly attempted to meet with a minor for sexual services near the Colorado Army post, officials said Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Federal investigators conducted a two-day operation on March 17 and 18 to apprehend the group of civilians and the soldier, who is yet to be named but is assigned to 10th Special Forces Command, according to a release<\/a> from the Army Criminal Investigation Division\u2019s Rocky Mountain Field Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspects agreed to meet the juvenile at a location that was predetermined during online conversations, officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese predators exist in the community, and we want to send the message that we will do whatever it takes to bring them to justice,\u201d Ryan O\u2019Connor, the special agent-in-charge of the field office, said in the release.<\/p>\n\n\n\t
