Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Liberty, North Carolina the group broadcast the event live on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the ceremony took place the video feed switched to show a nude man masturbating, according to various social media postings, including those shared to the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/army\/comments\/1d56bzz\/alright_so_what_happened_at_fort_liberty_biberty\/\" target=\"_blank\"> U.S. Army subreddit<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The identity of the man in the video was not disclosed, nor is it clear if the person was a military member or if the footage was from another source.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link wp-block-smg-interstitial-link\">\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/armytimes\/news\/your-army\/2019\/05\/03\/a-slap-on-the-wrist-for-two-soldiers-who-shared-nude-photos-of-a-third\/\" class=\"smg-interstitial-link__inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"smg-interstitial-link__media\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"133\" src=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/18th-MP-brigade-.jpg.jpg?w=300\" class=\"smg-interstitial-link__image wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"smg-interstitial-link__content\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"smg-interstitial-link__kicker\">Related<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"smg-interstitial-link__title\">A slap on the wrist for two soldiers who shared nude photos of a third<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"smg-interstitial-link__excerpt\">The staff sergeant and private first class were reduced one rank for bullying, the unit&#039;s newsletter said.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The center provided the following statement to Army Times today:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School is aware of an incident that occurred during the live stream of our 1st Special Warfare Training Group\u2019s Change of Command ceremony on May 30. We take this matter seriously and are reviewing our procedures to mitigate future situations. (Army)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The website <a href=\"https:\/\/taskandpurpose.com\/news\/army-special-warfare-porn-livestream\/\" target=\"_blank\">Task &amp; Purpose<\/a> reported on this event and the Army\u2019s investigation on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an email sent to the center\u2019s soldiers and civilians on the same day as the ceremony obtained by Army Times and other media outlets, Brig. Gen. Guillaume \u201cWill\u201d Beaurpere offered an apology for those \u201cwho observed the highly inappropriate content\u201d and any impact it had on viewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe take this matter seriously and addressed the SWCS enterprise with an email sharing resources available for those who were impacted by the incident,\u201d center spokeswoman Elvia Kelly told Army Times in an email today. \u201cDue to the ongoing investigation, it would be inappropriate to comment further.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The school also encouraged anyone negatively affected by the incident to reach out to the Army\u2019s Sexual Harassment\/Assault Prevention program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This isn\u2019t the first time in recent years that a sexual controversy has found its way to units on Fort Liberty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a 2020 incident, the official Twitter account of Fort Liberty, then Fort Bragg, posted a string of explicit tweets of a sexual nature. An Army spokesman at the time told <a href=\"https:\/\/taskandpurpose.com\/news\/fort-bragg-twitter-horny\/\" target=\"_blank\">Task &amp; Purpose<\/a> that an account administrator later identified
