He said he and Andy have been moved to a traditional prison, that they are no longer in solitary confinement but that they are together now 24\/7,\u201d said Lois \u201cBunny\u201d Drueke, his mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The men are believed to be the first Americans captured while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarytimes.com\/flashpoints\/ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\">fighting for Ukraine<\/a>. A third man is in a cell with the pair but Drueke didn\u2019t disclose his name and Drueke said she didn\u2019t press for the information for fear of the call being disconnected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drueke and Huynh failed to return to a meeting spot after their group came under heavy fire in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarytimes.com\/news\/2022\/05\/29\/russian-troops-storm-city-amid-eastern-ukraine-bombardments\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kharkiv region<\/a> of northeastern Ukraine near the Russian border on June 9.
