The hospital\u2019s pest control contractor hasn\u2019t responded to requests for comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The state\u2019s only veterans hospital came under scrutiny after a Boston Globe report in July revealed allegations of substandard care. Doctors had described a fly-infested operating room, surgical instruments that weren\u2019t always sterilized and patients not properly treated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A task force has been formed to recommend changes at the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bed bugs have forced the closure of
