This is the first time that a vendor has been approved issue these enhanced credentials, according to a WidePoint news release. PIV-I credentials can authenticate more than 40 million Department of Defense contractors and others so they can communicate with government information systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i>BONUS: <\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i>Join DISA&#8217;s Mark Orndorff Dec. 5 for a free webcast on military cybersecurity.
