The company has also worked to boost its presence in the public sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Falcon, the endpoint protection platform developed by Crowdstrike, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crowdstrike.com\/resources\/news\/crowdstrike-falcon-available-to-government-entities-nationwide-through-california-software-licensing-program-plus\/\" target=\"_blank\">became available for purchase<\/a> to government entities in California in January 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CrowdStrike also provides services to private sector entities, including 44 of the Fortune 100, 37 of the top 100 global companies and nine of the top 20 major banks, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crowdstrike.com\/blog\/crowdstrike-celebrates-ipo\/\" target=_blank>blog post<\/a> celebrating the IPO. CrowdStrike is also known for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fifthdomain.com\/critical-infrastructure\/2017\/11\/08\/book-hackers-pursued-democrats-into-last-days-of-election\/\" target=_blank>revealing the breach<\/a> of Democratic National Convention servers during the 2016 election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The stock closed June 14 at $64.16 a share, about 88 percent above its
