The CNMF has also established a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CNMF_VirusAlert\" target=_blank>Twitter feed<\/a> associated with the effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link wp-block-smg-interstitial-link\">\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/c4isrnet\/it-networks\/2018\/10\/26\/an-innovative-partnership-could-help-cyber-command-fight-malware\/\" class=\"smg-interstitial-link__inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"smg-interstitial-link__media\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"190\" src=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/4241104.jpg.jpg?w=300\" class=\"smg-interstitial-link__image wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"smg-interstitial-link__content\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"smg-interstitial-link__kicker\">Related<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"smg-interstitial-link__title\">An innovative partnership could help Cyber Command fight malware<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"smg-interstitial-link__excerpt\">Companies and organizations recently competed in a hackathon-style prototyping event bringing their capabilities to bear.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This effort is just one of many that reinforce how Cyber Command\u2019s leadership has been beating the drum for collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe work with partners consistently to ensure that they adapt \u2014 adapt in their technologies, their tools and their approaches,&#8221; Gen. Paul Nakasone, commander of Cyber Command, said during a speech at the beginning of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis idea of a posture of persistent innovation across all our partnerships is critical to counter our adversaries.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cyber Command\u2019s deputy commander, Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart, told Congress in September that the command has learned over the past year or so that growing the force demands persistent engagement, persistent presence and a persistent innovative spirit. Failure to do any of these means DoD can never compete against near-peer competitors in cyberspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across the DoD, others are also continuing to partner in new ways to ensure greater security. The Air Force kicked off its third bug bounty program in two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The third iteration will run from Oct. 19, 2018, to Nov. 22, 2018, according to the eligibility rules posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/hackerone.com\/htaf3\" target=_blank>HackerOne<\/a>, one of the industry partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link wp-block-smg-interstitial-link\">\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/c4isrnet\/home\/2018\/02\/15\/air-force-boosts-security-by-letting-hackers-in\/\"
