{"id":26217,"date":"2015-12-18T19:50:15","date_gmt":"2015-12-18T19:50:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/c4isrnet\/uncategorized\/2015\/12\/18\/lockheed-files-jltv-complaint-with-court\/"},"modified":"2026-08-08T18:22:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T18:22:08","slug":"lockheed-files-jltv-complaint-with-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/c4isrnet\/it-networks\/2015\/12\/18\/lockheed-files-jltv-complaint-with-court\/","title":{"rendered":"Lockheed files JLTV complaint with court"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WASHINGTON \u2014\u00a0Lockheed Martin has filed a complaint with the Court of Federal Claims over the Army&#8217;s decision to award Oshkosh a contract to build its Humvee replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement provided to Defense News<span class=\"rte rte-comment\"> today<\/span>, the company said:\u00a0&#8220;After careful consideration of all options, Lockheed Martin decided to file a complaint with the Court of Federal Claims concerning our Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) contract award process. We look forward to working with all parties involved on the next steps.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lockheed said earlier this week that it was considering filing a complaint with the court. The company had filed a notice of intent with the court on Dec. 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lockheed originally filed a protest with the Government Accountability Office on Sept. 8 shortly after Oshkosh won the JLTV production award. A decision was due Dec. 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But new Army-supplied information that emerged toward the end of the GAO&#8217;s protest process led Lockheed to consider moving its protest to federal court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The GAO dismissed Lockheed&#8217;s protest Tuesday, citing the company&#8217;s intention to file with the Court of Federal Claims as its reason.\u00a0&#8220;Our office will not decide a protest where the matter involved is subject of litigation before a court of competent jurisdiction,&#8221; the GAO wrote in its decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is not yet clear whether Lockheed&#8217;s complaint included a request\u00a0for Oshkosh to stop work on the JLTV program. Oshkosh was given the green light earlier this week to move forward in the production process after the GAO rendered its decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Email:\u00a0<a
