Both Northrop Grumman and the Air Force have tried to protect the program\u2019s details to prevent China from gaining access to the weapon\u2019s technology and building a similar version, as it has with other U.S. advanced weapons systems like the F-35 joint strike fighter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The B-21 is part of the Pentagon\u2019s efforts to modernize all three legs of <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/north-america-donald-trump-ap-top-news-nuclear-weapons-politics-01ec89ceb9224443880acd4213ef6c73\">its nuclear triad<\/a>, which includes silo-launched nuclear
