The system must also be capable of transmitting the data &#8220;in areas of tactical constraint,&#8221; according to the Office of Naval Research&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fbo.gov\/index?s=opportunity&amp;mode=form&amp;id=4ac19c4303facdbed3ab100f946ba721&amp;tab=core&amp;_cview=1\" target=\"_blank\">FedBizOpps announcement<\/a><span class=\"rte rte-comment\"> (https:\/\/www.fbo.gov\/index?s=opportunity&amp;mode=form&amp;id=4ac19c4303facdbed3ab100f946ba721&amp;tab=core&amp;_cview=1)<\/span>. The system must have computational efficiency for employment with tactical networks that have low bandwidth and high latency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sensor portion of the project will examine multi-modal sensor fusion. The communication part will focus on data links between tactical nodes and shore sites, transmitting information from underwater through the ocean and sky, and autonomous optimization of
