Seoul ADEX, one of Asia’s most respected aerospace and defense exhibitions, is taking a major step toward a more connected and data-driven visitor experience with the launch of the Official Seoul ADEX App and its companion Digital Directory platform. Developed in collaboration with the Korea Aerospace Industries Association (KAIA) and technology partner Sourcehere, the two platforms bring together thousands of industry professionals through one seamless digital ecosystem. Every two years, Seoul ADEX draws global attention as government delegations, armed-forces officials, and leading manufacturers converge to showcase new technology and strengthen defense partnerships. With the new app and digital directory, organizers have added a vital digital layer to that experience, helping participants plan, connect, and follow up more efficiently than ever before.

A complete show companion

The Official Seoul ADEX App is designed to be the ultimate planning tool for visitors, exhibitors, and VIP delegations. It allows users to browse the full list of participating companies, discover products and services, and view detailed exhibitor profiles long before arriving at the venue. Once onsite, the app’s interactive 3D floor plan helps visitors navigate the exhibition grounds quickly and locate stands, meeting rooms, and pavilions with ease. Other key features include powerful keyword search, personalized event planning tools, and in-app messaging that enables visitors and exhibitors to arrange meetings directly through the platform. All planning data syncs automatically between the mobile app and the online digital directory, giving users a unified experience across devices.Luke Halpin, Director of Marketing and Sales at Sourcehere, said the goal is to bridge the gap between physical and digital engagement. “With the Official Seoul ADEX App, we wanted to make every minute at the show more productive. From pre-show research to onsite navigation and post-show follow-up, this ecosystem helps turn conversations on the stand into measurable business outcomes.” The app is available in both English and Korean and supports the full range of smartphones and tablets. Visitors can download it free of charge from Google Play or the Apple App Store. A digital bridge before, during, and after the show. While the app takes center stage, the Seoul ADEX Digital Directory plays an equally important supporting role. It provides a desktop-friendly interface that allows professionals to find exhibitors and their products and services by using an advanced keyword search algorithm, and location-based filtering, bookmark favorites, and compile custom shortlists. These tools extend the life of the event far beyond the exhibition dates, allowing exhibitors and visitors to continue engaging throughout the year. For organizers, the platform also delivers valuable insights into user engagement, helping Seoul ADEX and KAIA measure reach, identify high interest product areas, and refine future editions of the show. Both platforms are powered by Sourcehere’s event technology, which already supports digital directories and mobile apps for several major defense and aerospace exhibitions worldwide. By customizing these solutions for Seoul ADEX, KAIA has ensured that the show remains at the forefront of digital innovation in Asia’s rapidly growing defense sector.

Benefits for exhibitors and delegations

For exhibitors, visibility is crucial in a show of this magnitude. The digital directory and app profiles give each company a dedicated space to showcase its latest products, technologies, and contact information. These profiles are searchable by visitors and procurement teams, increasing the likelihood of meaningful connections. Delegations and trade missions benefit from pre-event planning features that allow them to coordinate schedules, identify key contacts, and map out visits efficiently. Meanwhile, attendees can use the app’s “My Planner” function to organize their agenda and receive real-time updates or notifications about seminars, demonstrations, and show-wide announcements. The result is a more structured and productive experience for everyone involved, aligning with Seoul ADEX’s mission to support collaboration, innovation, and commercial growth across the aerospace and defense industry.

A partnership built for innovation

The collaboration between KAIA and Sourcehere highlights a shared commitment to improving user experience and supporting exhibitors’ return on investment. The combination of local industry insight and global event technology expertise has produced a solution that enhances both the onsite and digital presence of Seoul ADEX. By merging physical exhibition infrastructure with intelligent digital tools, the show now offers organizers richer analytics, exhibitors’ broader exposure, and visitors a more intuitive way to connect with the people and technologies shaping the future of defense. “As defense and security industries continue to evolve, events like Seoul ADEX need to offer more than exhibition space,” Halpin added. “They need to deliver measurable connections, actionable data, and a seamless user journey. The Seoul ADEX App and Digital Directory deliver exactly that.”

Ready to download

Visitors attending this year’s event are encouraged to download the Official Seoul ADEX App in advance to plan their trip and begin connecting with exhibitors. The app is available now on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and registration takes less than a minute. Download the Official Seoul ADEX App.

When it comes to international defense exhibitions, few shows rival Indo Defence in scale or significance. Held biennially in Jakarta and organized by PT Napindo Media Ashatama, the event continues to serve as a strategic meeting point for military, government, and commercial stakeholders across Asia and beyond.

This year, in a step toward greater digital engagement, Indo Defence introduced an official Digital Directory, developed in partnership with Sourcehere. Sourcehere provides event organizers with tailored Digital Directory solutions, Event Apps, and Delegation Management systems that extend the impact of live events and streamline the experience for attendees, exhibitors, delegations and organizers.

With over 500 exhibiting companies participating in this edition of the show, the Indo Defence Digital Directory offers a powerful way for attendees to explore products, plan meetings, and connect with exhibitors before, during, and after the event. The platform includes advanced search capabilities, an interactive 3D floorplan, and messaging features, all designed to enhance visibility and drive engagement across the full lifecycle of the event.

The collaboration supports Indo Defence’s continued efforts to bring new value to exhibitors and improve the visitor experience. From small businesses seeking regional exposure to multinationals expanding their defense footprint, companies benefit from increased discoverability both onsite and online. For many, this digital bridge has become a vital tool in turning show floor conversations into long-term commercial partnerships.

“We’re proud to bring a more connected experience to Indo Defence,” said Luke Halpin, Director of Marketing & Sales at Sourcehere. “Our goal is to deliver digital tools that empower organizers and exhibitors, while creating a more efficient and engaging experience for visitors before they go to the show and onsite. Indo Defence is a clear example of how technology can help elevate a show of this magnitude.”

As defense and security industries grow increasingly interconnected, the ability to match the right supplier with the right opportunity has never been more important.

When it comes to generating business leads at this year’s Japan Aerospace, October 16 – 18 in Tokyo, Japan, U.S. exhibitors will have an extra advantage over their competitors. In partnership with Sourcehere.com, the global supply chain networking platform, USA Partnership Pavilion organizer Kallman Worldwide will produce a digital show directory to connect more international buyers with U.S. suppliers on-site and online before, during, and after the show.

Sourcehere supports thousands of B2B suppliers and buyers around the world with interactive tools and utilities — including direct messaging — to meet, conduct business, and build trade relationships anywhere, anytime. The company launched in 2022 with a focus on trade shows, capitalizing on spikes in market interest around events such as Japan Aerospace to demonstrate its robust, 24/7/365 platform as an alternative to traditional printed show guides.

It’s a good fit for Kallman, whose trademark Pavilion is recognized around the world as the hub of American business at many of industry’s most important international trade events. The company’s portfolio of exhibitor services, custom stand building, supply chain support services, and workforce advocacy programs further solidify its reputation as an enterprising partner above and beyond simply managing floor space in exhibition halls.

For Pavilion exhibitors, Sourcehere extends their reach in target sectors and adds measurable year-round marketing visibility. And for companies that aren’t exhibiting yet, the platform offers an inexpensive, cost-effective way to dip their toes in the trade show pool online before diving into a live show overseas.

“Trade shows have always been our core strength, but we’ve never thought of ourselves as just a trade show company,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO, Tom Kallman. “Since my father started the company in 1963, we’ve focused on advancing global trade, connecting suppliers and buyers wherever, whenever, however we can. Their business is a year-round conversation punctuated by trade events, and so is ours.”

“COVID was an epic wake-up call to exporters everywhere, and the lessons we learned from the experience made us an even more valuable partner to suppliers and buyers alike,” said Kallman. “When shows were suspended, technology gave us the tools to stay connected in the short term and add capabilities to rebound even stronger. Best of all, when the dust settled, none of it was at the expense of the live, often spontaneous face-to-face meetings that are the foundation of this business.”

As Sourcehere establishes its value on the trade show floor, it’s also building equity with a wider circle of stakeholders and influencers in event communities, such as the American Chambers of Commerce around the world.

“For American companies with business interests in other countries, it’s important to have a local presence,” said Kallman. “As a global supply chain networking platform, Sourcehere gives U.S. trade show exhibitors, many of whom are also AmCham members, an extended competitive advantage in the local business conversation.”

When it comes to generating business leads at this year’s Asian Defense and Security (ADAS), September 24-27 at World Trade Center Metro Manila in the Philippines, U.S. exhibitors will have an extra advantage over their competitors.

The company launched in 2022 with a focus on trade shows, capitalizing on spikes in market interest around events such as ADAS to demonstrate its robust, 24/7/365 platform as an alternative to traditional printed show guides.

As the pandemic receded, Kallman’s schedule of events bounced back strong, now above pre-COVID levels. The company currently represents more than 50 trade events in seven industries on six continents through 2025, supporting thousands of exhibitors with Pavilions on-site and an extended show presence online.

On July 3, eight teams of high school students and educators from around the world will rendezvous in the United States to carry out their mission as the latest recipients of the Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship.

Representing Australia, Chile, Poland, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States, Mission Teams #13 through #20, the Endeavour “Class of 2024″ will gather in Washington, DC, first for three days of cultural exchange and team building (including U.S. Independence Day celebrations on the National Mall) before flying to Huntsville, AL, for a week-long, hands-on, astronaut team training experience at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Space Camp.

The Endeavour Scholarship is the lead corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of Kallman Worldwide, the U.S. representative and organizer of the centerpiece USA Partnership Pavilion at many of the world’s most influential trade events. The not-for-profit program was launched in 2019 by company President and CEO, Tom Kallman, to honor his friend and colleague, Worden, pilot of the Apollo 15 Command Module “Endeavour.”

The two shared a passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education that led to Worden serving as Kallman’s STEM ambassador at trade shows around the world from 2016 until his passing in 2020. He was succeeded in this role by Apollo 16 Lunar Module Pilot, Charlie Duke who passed the torch to former NASA Space Shuttle Commander, Mike Bloomfield in 2023.

To date, Endeavour has awarded scholarships to 80 students and 20 educators from nine countries. The all-expenses paid scholarships are funded entirely by private donations.

The 2024 USA Endeavour selections were competitive, and while all asked applicants to explain their passions for STEM and how they would represent their countries as “Endeavour Ambassadors,” variations on the theme reflected cultural differences and interests. For example, the competition in Poland — which drew the interest of some 2,000 applicants — asked students to submit a three-minute video explaining their passion for STEAM (STEM plus the Arts) and how they would apply STEAM to create a better world. The nationwide Singapore competition asked students to submit a seven-minute video and a one-page summary addressing the challenge of sending people to colonize Proxima Centauri, the closest star to the sun.

From nation to nation, Endeavour partners include national space agencies such as the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre in Dubai and the Polish Space Agency in Gdansk; trade event organizers such as Singapore Airshow parent Experia Events and AMDA, the not-for-profit champion for Australia’s aviation, aerospace, space, maritime, defense, and security industries on an international scale; and professional associations such as the Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile, the national membership society of engineers, and Sisters of the Skies, a U.S. champion for Black women in aviation.

“Worldwide support for Endeavour is deeply gratifying and exemplifies the spirit of partnership that fuels this program,” said Kallman. “Every country we work in — and we’ve worked in at least 50 of them since our company was founded in 1963 — is facing the same challenges to prepare its young people for the future. Many also see that future in space. As an extension of our work advancing global trade in exhibition halls around the world, and with the support of global partners in government, industry, the military, and academia, the Endeavour Scholarship connects with worldwide interest in space to promote STEM careers in all industries.”

Sisters of the Skies President, Theresa Claiborne, said her organization’s partnership with Endeavour has introduced a new global dimension to its programming.

“Sisters of the Skies was founded to create more career opportunities for Black women in aviation through mentorship, scholarship, and outreach, and our cooperation with the Endeavour Scholarship and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation to send U.S. national teams to Space Camp this year puts new international possibilities on our radar,” she said. “We’re thankful for the opportunity, and excited to see collaboration among the students and educators we selected from across America and their counterparts from around the world take flight. If they can see it, they can be it!”

Former NASA Space Shuttle Commander, Mike Bloomfield, will attend FIDAE 2024, Latin America’s foremost airshow, next month as a goodwill ambassador for U.S. industry and the Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship, which advocates for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education to fuel the future industry workforce.

As part of the largest international presence at the show, Bloomfield’s message at FIDAE builds on the 2023 bicentennial of official U.S.-Chile relations to advance bilateral cooperation and give young people a stake in the future.

“Every country needs a STEM-educated workforce,” said Bloomfield, a three-time shuttle astronaut (pilot of STS-86 and STS-97, and commander of STS-110). “As world leaders in exploration and discovery, the United States and Chile have a unique opportunity — a responsibility — to excite, inspire, and train our young people to succeed in STEM careers.”

Highlights of Bloomfield’s schedule during FIDAE (April 9-14) include introducing Chile’s third group of recipients of the Endeavour scholarship, an all-expenses paid week-long, hands-on astronaut training experience at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Space Camp in Huntsville, AL; addressing members of the Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile, the national engineering trade association; and commemorating the 30th anniversary of the USA Partnership Pavilion at the show.

Tom Kallman, President and CEO of Pavilion organizer Kallman Worldwide and the 501(c)(3) Kallman Foundation, which administers the Endeavour program, announced Bloomfield’s participation at FIDAE upon returning from last month’s Singapore Airshow, where the United States also stood as the largest international presence on-site and Endeavour launched its third and fourth Singaporean teams. During the event, the scholarship foundation also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia to launch its first Endeavour team at Indo Defence 2024 in Jakarta this November.

The Endeavour Scholarship honors its namesake Worden, Command Module Pilot of the Apollo 15 spacecraft “Endeavour,” whose lifelong commitment to STEM education included serving as Kallman’s STEM ambassador at international trade events from 2015 until his passing in 2020.

“The enthusiasm and support for the Endeavour Scholarship around the world is deeply gratifying because it exemplifies the nation-to-nation spirit of partnership that fuels our program,” said Kallman. “Every country we work in — and we’ve worked in at least 50 of them since our company was founded in 1963 — is facing the same challenges to prepare its young people for the future. Many also see that future in space. As an extension of our work advancing global trade in exhibition halls, and with the support of partners in government, industry, the military, and academia, the Endeavour Scholarship connects with worldwide interest in space to promote STEM careers on earth.”

The Endeavour Scholarship invites high school students in trade show host communities to compete for four spots on a “mission” team to Space Camp. Local judges select winning applications and name a local educator to lead the crew. Since it was unveiled at the 2019 Paris Airshow, the program has presented scholarships to 76 students and 19 educators in nine countries.

The new Chilean crew members were selected by leaders of the Colegio de Ingenieros from applications submitted nationwide. Known collectively as “Mission Team #15,” the selected students Antonia Covacevich, Claudia Andrea Ulloa Henriquez, Catalina Reyes, and Gabriela Urzua will travel to the United States this July to visit Washington, DC and attend Space Camp. Their mission team leader is Rosita Guerra, a faculty member of the Arturo Merino Benitez School.

The team will be formally introduced and presented with their mission patches and jackets during a ceremony at FIDAE in the USA Partnership Pavilion on April 10 by Kallman, Bloomfield, and college President, Hernán De Solminihac.

“We are proud to partner with the Kallman Foundation to select the crew of the Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship Mission Team #15 and participate in their introduction at the FIDAE Air Show,” said Solminihac. “From Calama in the north to Punta Arenas in the south and Santiago in between, this team will represent our entire country at Space Camp, and that experience will change their lives.”
