With a pair of contract awards over the last two months, the Army has kicked off the first phase of its program to deliver to brigades the first ground-based integrated signals intelligence, electronic warfare and cyber capability \u2014 the Terrestrial Layer System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This first phase will last 16 months, Paul Turczynski, director of Boeing\u2019s missions and payloads global sales and marketing, told C4ISRNET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first phase will involve a preliminary design review in early July as well as operational tests with units.<\/p>\n\n\n\t
