Four-star spotlights key problem areas for the Army in the Pacific<\/a>: There are some key areas that draw the commander of U.S. Army Pacific\u2019s attention on a routine basis \u2014 and much of them surround Singapore. But Gen. Charles Flynn has other considerations, too, such as whether Army forces working with partners in the region are doing the work those countries and their leaders want, \u201cnot what we want to be working on.\u201d Here\u2019s what the general\u2019s AUSA presentation on Multi-Domain Operations covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Army aviation chief: Programs may need to sacrifice perfect solutions<\/a>: As the Army looks to field future aviation programs, it should think more holistically about those efforts, the service\u2019s program executive officer for aviation said during an AUSA panel. That could mean program managers accepting solutions that might not be exactly what their programs need, but are better for the Army as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n
