Sean Babbitt said the Fitz&#039;s sailors need to get help from the Navy to deal with the trauma of the June 17 collision, which killed seven of their shipmates.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingalls, part of Virginia-based Huntington Ingalls Industries, already received a $63 million contract to rip out damaged areas. Repairs and modernization are expected to take until mid-2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer has said it could cost $600 million combined to repair the Fitzgerald and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.navytimes.com\/news\/your-navy\/2017\/11\/01\/crushed-in-their-racks-inside-the-john-s-mccain-disaster\/\" title=\"\" class=\"\" target=\"_blank\">the USS John S.
