Suvarna Raju\u00a0said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FGFA program has lain dormant since the initial agreement between\u00a0HAL and Sukhoi Design Bureau of Russia\u00a0was\u00a0signed in 2010 to\u00a0jointly\u00a0produce the aircraft. The improvements include active electronically\u00a0scanned array radars, air-to-air refueling probes, externally fitted\u00a0electronic warfare suites and a new internal layout to resolve maintenance\u00a0issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HAL has also promised to reduce the weight of the LCA-Mark-1A so that the General Electric F404 engine can power the upgraded LCA-Mark-1A, the official\u00a0said. <br\/> <br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Multirole helicopter<\/b> <br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HAL unveiled the full-scale model of its Indian Multirole\u00a0Helicopter, or IMRH, at Aero India 2017. The company aims to tap the big-ticket multirole helo market. <br\/> <br\/>&#8220;There\u00a0is a total requirement of over 200 Indian multirole helicopters,&#8221; Raju\u00a0noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HAL plans to indigenously develop the twin-engine, 12-ton IMRH\u00a0with service ceiling of about 20,000 feet, a payload of 3,500 kilograms and a\u00a0seating capacity of 24.
