The subs will be the \u2018Attack\u2019 class with the lead vessel named HMAS Attack. Mark Noonan, also denied reports of an emerging capability gap between the retirement of the first Collins submarines and the Attack boats entering service, which some analysts have suggested might require a \u2018Plan B\u2019 to be formulated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI don\u2019t believe that\u2019s the case,\u201d he told reporters. \u201cWe\u2019ve got a very solid plan to ensure that there is no gap in our nation\u2019s submarine capability, and there is a very advanced plan that will see a number of our current Collins class submarines going through a life of
