There is also a search for protection against changing threats in operational theater, integration of complex tactical systems for communication and observation, and adapting solutions for the support of vehicle fleets using protected information technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Defense is one of the major topics at the high-level Medef conference, to be held Aug. 29-30 on the campus of HEC, a business school just outside of Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the speakers in the conference\u2019s debate \u201cWars and Peace\u201d are French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly; French Air Force Gen. Denis Mercier, the head of NATO\u2019s Allied Command Transformation; and French Navy Vice Adm. Anne Cullerre. How much to cut from the defense budget and the economic dimensions of war and peace are among the topics for discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link
