Berteau voices concerns about reports that the EPA has halted new awards and even payment for work already performed in order to align with new administration priorities.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;A blunt, across the board halt on contracting actions will disrupt core government operations, drive away hard-to-find workers and may cost more to restart than it saves by stopping,&#8221; wrote Berteau. &#8220;Absent problems with specific contracts, we strongly recommend that these actions be of the shortest duration possible.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PSC is encouraging the EPA to share public information on plans to allow companies to brace for the potential economic impact of such actions on their workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The letter can be viewed in its entirety<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"\"
