The VA\u2019s internal watchdog said patients at the medical center were being put at unnecessary risk of harm due to bad inventory practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A more recent audit found that Hawkins had shared \u201csensitive\u201d information about the VA with his wife through her personal email account. She\u2019s not a VA employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Retired Army Col.
