This being my last column of 2014, I want to tell you about some big changes in store at Federal Times as we head into the new year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the next few weeks, we will roll out an exciting new redesign of FederalTimes.com that will provide readers a far more visual look and feel and a richer multimedia experience. You will find a greater variety of content, such as slideshows, video programs and special multimedia reports, all in addition to our current lineup of award-winning news, analysis and opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new website will offer even better navigation so you can quickly and easily find the content you want, whether it’s a recent news story, an expert advice column, one of our insightful blog posts, or an interview with a top federal executive. For instance, you will be able to browse content by topic; find photo galleries and videos loaded and ready to go in prominent, easy-to-find places; and use quick links to jump to our popular blogs and channel sections in a snap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We also will release a new Federal Times app so you can get the optimal reader experience from your mobile device, including the ability to sign up for mobile alerts to ensure you never miss breaking news and important updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And, starting next year, the Federal Times print product will become a monthly news magazine, printed on a higher quality stock and delivering a more attractive look and feel that will provide readers with greater long-range context to the daily news and analysis appearing on FederalTimes.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, look for many more custom editorial products from us in 2015, such as webcasts, events, video programs and editorial whitepapers \u2014 all offering valuable insight and analysis on a wide variety of topics affecting the federal management community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In short, these coming changes reflect our commitment to continually improve our offerings to keep you better informed of the many trends and events affecting your agency and career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
