President Donald Trump announced Feb. 2 that Roger L. Stone will take up the role of White House Director of Information Technology, which was left vacant after the departure of Chris Herndon at the end of 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The White House IT Director is a relatively new position, established by executive order during the Obama administration to ensure that IT run at the White House and Executive Office of the President is \u201cefficient, secure and resilient.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
