The contractors reported him to the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Command at Kandahar Airfield, who set up a sting operation offering $54,000 in stolen spools of copper wire he purchased for $4,000 before being apprehended. <br\/><br\/> Trial Attorneys Frank Rangoussis and Ann Marie Ursini of the Criminal Division&#8217;s Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section prosecuted the case.
