Cutting federal employees who are teleworking or working remotely is \u201ca great place to start\u201d saving money, the South Carolina Republican who sits on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability told CBS News<\/a> correspondent Major Garrett in a recent interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe have 52% of the federal workforce that aren\u2019t showing up to work,\u201d Mace said. \u201cGo down to the DOT \u2014 the Department of Transportation. See how empty that building is. If you\u2019re unwilling to show up to work, maybe you ought to get fired.
