In December, the Prince George’s County Police Department landed a spot as one of the top finishers in our latest Best for Vets: Law Enforcement rankings.

We spoke with several of the Maryland department’ s veteran and reservist officers about what it was like for them to transition from the military to law enforcement or juggle police work with reserve deployments. They also took us on a ride-along for a look at police work firsthand.
