Joseph Butterfield, a Marine spokesman, told Marine Corps Times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Women already are authorized to carry a small black umbrella with the dress or service uniforms.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinecorpstimes.com\/news\/your-marine-corps\/2019\/04\/08\/umbrellas-silver-earrings-and-new-ponytail-options-the-marine-corps-is-pondering-these-changes-and-more\/\" target=\"_blank\"> A uniform board<\/a> met earlier in 2019 to consider authorizing men to do the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maternity uniforms are issued via the Marine Corps
