Marines rush to evacuate citizens, as a Marine\u2019s voice reassures them in the background, \u201cYou\u2019re going to be all right.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe future is threatened by enemies often unrelenting, unexpected and unpredictable,\u201d the narrator says. \u201cIn the midst of an uncertain and evolving world, the need for Marines to defeat these shifting threats is critical.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the next scene, a group of Marines troop across a beach and through a jungle, alert for threats. Above them, birds rocket into the sky and morph into enemy drones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the Marines are ready. They take down three drones in quick succession with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinecorpstimes.com\/news\/your-marine-corps\/2022\/05\/10\/heres-how-marine-air-power-will-shift-with-the-corps-2022-aviation-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marine Air Defense Integrated System.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And as the scenery turns into wintry mountains, it becomes clear that the Marines have drones of their own. They use one to scope out an enemy position, which a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System soon takes out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cut to a naval warfare scenario: After a Marine scopes out an enemy ship, an F-35 drops its payload and destroys it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This commercial wraps up as many of its predecessors do, with Marines in dress uniform, in this case holding the U.S. and Marine Corps flags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen there are battles to win for America\u2019s future, there is one constant: Marines,\u201d the narrator concludes.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link wp-block-smg-interstitial-link\">\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/marinecorpstimes\/news\/recruiting\/2020\/09\/19\/corps-debuts-new-recruiting-commercial-targeting-gen-z\/\" class=\"smg-interstitial-link__inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"smg-interstitial-link__media\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"160\" src=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/thumb2.png.png?w=300\" class=\"smg-interstitial-link__image wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"smg-interstitial-link__content\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"smg-interstitial-link__kicker\">Related<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"smg-interstitial-link__title\">Corps debuts new recruiting commercial, targeting Gen Z<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"smg-interstitial-link__excerpt\">The commercial, titled \u201cBattle to Belong,\u201d starts in a dystopian future dominated by technology and information.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ad comes not even a month into the new fiscal year, amid recruiting challenges for the military.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinecorpstimes.com\/news\/your-marine-corps\/2021\/11\/15\/treat-people-like-human-beings-here-are-some-of-the-ways-the-marines-are-trying-to-improve-retention\/\" target=\"_blank\">high retention<\/a> in fiscal year 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinecorpstimes.com\/news\/your-marine-corps\/2021\/11\/15\/treat-people-like-human-beings-here-are-some-of-the-ways-the-marines-are-trying-to-improve-retention\/\" target=\"_blank\">that meant<\/a> it required fewer new troops, the Marine Corps <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinecorpstimes.com\/news\/your-marine-corps\/2022\/10\/10\/the-marine-corps-hit-all-its-recruitment-goals-for-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\">was the only branch<\/a> other than the Space Force to meet its recent accession goals. But it didn\u2019t meet them by much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis new advertising campaign conveys a single premise: Against ever-evolving threats, our Nation\u2019s greatest asset is the adaptable skillset of Marines who fight and win,\u201d the Marine Corps said in a press release announcing the commercial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The commercial was released online on Thursday and will air on television on Saturday at the football game between the rival Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs, according to the press
