In a book full of startling revelations, the assertion of Britain\u2019s Prince Harry that he killed 25 people in Afghanistan<\/a> is one of the most striking \u2014 and has drawn criticism from both enemies and allies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his memoir, \u201cSpare,\u201d Harry says he killed more than two dozen Taliban militants<\/a> while serving as an Apache helicopter copilot gunne<\/a>r in Afghanistan in 2012\u20132013. He writes that he feels neither satisfaction nor shame about his actions, and in the heat of battle regarded enemy combatants as pieces being removed from a chessboard, \u201cBaddies eliminated before they could kill Goodies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry has talked before about his combat experience, saying near the end of his tour in 2013 that \u201cif there\u2019s people trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we\u2019ll take them out of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
