Before you head out, check with your installation\u2019s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) leisure travel office to score discounted tickets for local attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here we share our top four favorite military-friendly beach destinations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Tybee Island, GA<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/app.sandboxx.us\/hotels\/Tybee-Island--GA\/\" target=_blank>Tybee Island<\/a> is a small coastal community located 30 minutes from downtown historic Savannah. It\u2019s particularly close to Fort Stewart, the largest Army installation east of the Mississippi River.
