In it, the man who was snatched off the streets of Tripoli a year ago says he is falsely charged in the bombings in Kenya and Tanzania that killed 224 people, including a dozen Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Libi says he was abused physically and psychologically aboard a U.S. Navy vessel before his transfer to the FBI and felt obligated to make statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government in court papers said al-Libi properly waived his rights before making statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/default-militarytimes.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2692\"
