{"id":116629,"date":"2018-10-23T15:49:39","date_gmt":"2018-10-23T15:49:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/militarytimes\/uncategorized\/2018\/10\/23\/heres-how-you-can-get-a-gov-spec-raven-concealment-rig\/"},"modified":"2026-08-08T13:17:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T13:17:18","slug":"heres-how-you-can-get-a-gov-spec-raven-concealment-rig","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/militarytimes\/off-duty\/gearscout\/2018\/10\/23\/heres-how-you-can-get-a-gov-spec-raven-concealment-rig\/","title":{"rendered":"Here\u2019s how you can get a gov-spec Raven Concealment rig"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether you\u2019re an RCS aficionado who likes collecting rare pieces of gear, or you\u2019re a customer who missed out when we discontinued the Phantom holster line last year, these bundles are something you\u2019ll definitely want to grab while supplies last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although we discontinued the Phantom and Phantom LC from our commercial line in 2017, we retained a limited production capacity for certain military and government clients who were still issuing them (once a product is \u2018in the system\u2019 with a .gov\/.mil client, it is rarely a quick process to change what is being ordered on those contracts).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These kits are from some of those government contracts. Since we have finally managed to transition these customers from Phantom holsters to Peruns, it has left us with an unexpected inventory of Phantoms that we can release to the commercial market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather than break up the kits, we have decided to sell them as originally spec\u2019d. On the back of the holster, above the RCS logo, you will notice a lasered rectangular block. This is where we had to laser over some agency-specific markings that had been applied for the customer \u2013 a sort of \u201cde-badging\u201d of the holster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"1183\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Ravenconealment2.png.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-103685\" srcset=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Ravenconealment2.png.png 650w, https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Ravenconealment2.png.png?resize=165,300 165w, https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Ravenconealment2.png.png?resize=563,1024 563w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we have sold contract close-outs in the past, they have sold-out very quickly, and remain highly sought-after among collectors. These kits are a very useful assortment of magazine carriers and accessories, as well as a holster that is very unique in its markings.
