This is one of those times.<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So first off, Crimson Trace (@crimsontrace) recently announced the addition of Remington Arms 870 shotgun compatible models of Lasersaddle laser sights to their Lasersaddle line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/lasersaddle-for-remington-870-and-tac-14-3.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-104307\" srcset=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/lasersaddle-for-remington-870-and-tac-14-3.jpg.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/lasersaddle-for-remington-870-and-tac-14-3.jpg.jpg?resize=300,158 300w, https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/lasersaddle-for-remington-870-and-tac-14-3.jpg.jpg?resize=768,403 768w, https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/lasersaddle-for-remington-870-and-tac-14-3.jpg.jpg?resize=1024,538 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new <a href=\"http:\/\/products.crimsontrace.com\/search?w=LaserSaddle\">shotgun laser<\/a> will be available in two models: the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/01-7980\"><b>LS-870 red shotgun laser<\/b><\/a> sight and the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/01-8140\"><b> LS-870G green shotgun laser<\/b><\/a> sight. Either will make an excellent counterpart to any of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/products\/by-product-type\/electronic-sights\">red dot sights<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to what\u2019s been described on social media freqs and in the cursory descriptions online, the LS-870 will provide multiple ambidextrous laser activation pad points for instant targeting with a powerful 5mW red laser. As with all Crimson Trace laser sights, the LS-870 is user-adjustable for windage and elevation. The LS-870 features a Master On\/Off Switch for completely powering down the system. CT has released a red dot \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/products.crimsontrace.com\/search?w=Mount\">scope mount<\/a>\u201d line as an addition to their various offerings of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/products\/by-product-type\/electronic-sights\">electronic sights<\/a>. Among the new items are a Low Mount, Lower 1\/3 Co-Witness Mount, and two Absolute Co-Witness Mounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"674\" height=\"483\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Crimson-Trace-Optic-Mounts.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-104315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Crimson-Trace-Optic-Mounts.jpg.jpg 674w, https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Crimson-Trace-Optic-Mounts.jpg.jpg?resize=300,215 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 674px) 100vw, 674px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/products\/by-product-type\/electronic-sights\/01-00350\">Absolute Co-Witness Mount<\/a> for the CTS-1200 and CTS-1300 mounts to 11914 Picatinny rails with a mounting height of 1.4 in. from the top of the rail to the optical centerline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s manufactured with ultra-lightweight aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum and weighs 1.38 in. It\u2019s matte black and Type III hard anodized. Note that it <i>might <\/i>work with other manufacturers\u2019 optics, but that isn\u2019t guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/products\/by-product-type\/electronic-sights\/01-00370\"><b>CTS-1400 Absolute Co-Witness Mount<\/b><\/a> is of similar construction and specs, but is for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/products\/by-product-type\/electronic-sights\/01-8410\">CTS-1400 Open Reflex Sight<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/products\/by-product-type\/electronic-sights\/01-00340\">CTS-1000 Low Red Dot Mount<\/a> is made for the CT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsontrace.com\/products\/by-product-type\/electronic-sights\/01-8420\">compact tactical red dot sight for rifles<\/a>.
