She told the press, \u201cYou can see it in people\u2019s faces that they\u2019re a little horrified that they forget this is what the day\u2019s about. Culturally, we\u2019ve kind of lost sight of what the day\u2019s supposed to mean.\u201d Maslow wants everyone to remember it\u2019s not just a day off it\u2019s a day to commemorate fallen troops.
