Myles Caggins, a spokesman for the coalition, says the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airforcetimes.com\/flashpoints\/2019\/09\/10\/air-force-f-15s-f-35s-dump-80000-pounds-of-bombs-on-iraqi-island\/\" target=_blank>attacks by the Strike Eagle fighter jets<\/a> were pre-planned and destroyed ammunition stored at the Lafarge Cement Factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All coalition personnel and \u201cessential tactical equipment\u201d had left the base before the strike, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of the 1,000 U.S. forces in Syria are being
