Michael Freeman relived Col. Anadis Collado, leader of the 628th Medical Group, and Lt. Col. Douglas Grabowski, commander of the 628th Healthcare Operations Squadron, citing \u201ca loss in trust and confidence in their ability to lead,\u201d spokespeople for the wing told Air Force Times Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link wp-block-smg-interstitial-link\">\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/marinecorpstimes\/news\/your-marine-corps\/2024\/03\/18\/2-leaders-fired-from-marines-west-coast-infantry-school-on-same-day\/\" class=\"smg-interstitial-link__inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"smg-interstitial-link__media\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" src=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/MacCutcheon.jpg.jpg?w=300\" class=\"smg-interstitial-link__image wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"smg-interstitial-link__content\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"smg-interstitial-link__kicker\">Related<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"smg-interstitial-link__title\">2 leaders fired from Marines\u2019 West Coast infantry school on same day<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"smg-interstitial-link__excerpt\">The commanding officer of the School of Infantry\u2013West and the commanding officer of the school\u2019s Reconnaissance Training Company were fired March 8.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, Chief Master Sgt. Ann Johnson, the senior enlisted leader for the medical group, has also been reassigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lt. Col. Syreeta Lawrence has been named to lead the 628th Medical Group, and Maj. Joseph Estep is replacing Grabowski at the 628th Healthcare Operations Squadron, the Air Force said. Senior Master Sgt. Hector Velazquez Ramos has been named the 628th Medical Group senior enlisted leader. Phillip Stewart took over as head of 19th Air Force in August 2022.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Collado and Grabowski had each held their leadership roles since June 2022. Neither immediately responded to attempts to reach them through social media accounts on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 628th Medical Group provides health services for more than 63,000 beneficiaries, including 4,000 active duty service members.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Col.
